Wait for complete file, look at privacy act or health information privacy code and tell ACC.

Accuracy of health information (rule 8)
Before it uses or discloses health information a health agency must take reasonable steps to check that information is accurate, complete, relevant, up to date and not misleading.

Get your file in order before any assessment, request complete file from ACC. Before you go for any assessment get a list of all information that has been provided and take everything with you to assessment regardless because ACC leaves stuff out.

ACC is making habit of losing old files, suddenly they go *poof* and they're gone. Imagine that?

They don't like those claims under the early 1972 and 1982 Acts which you 1985 injury is, but chances are the 1992 date ACC want to use falls under the broken 1992 Act.

Someone else has asked similar over here:

Apparently you have the right to ask for (and receive) individualised case management as we've received in the past.

New client payment rates and interest rates from 1 July 2020

    • the new gross minimum rate of weekly compensation payable to a full-time earner will be $604.80 (equal to 80% of the adult minimum wage of $756.00 for a forty-hour week)

From: NGCM Engagement Model Decision Privacy Impact Assessment 8 August 2019

In support of these objectives, NGCM has created different types of client engagement teams. These include:
    • Enabled Recovery – offering clients the ability to self-manage their recovery
    • Assisted Recovery – offering clients a mixture of self-management with ACC assistance (task based rather than one-to-one case management)
    • Supported Recovery – offering clients with complex needs a dedicated ACC case owner
    • Partnered Recovery – offering clients with specialist needs a dedicated ACC case owner

It's just a new way to dick over clients.

While you're with dedicated person you're probably OK but once you move into a team management under the first two options then your emails won't be answered, there's no one to ensure / take responsibility for decisions that don't get made or get made badly etc.
  5. In Topic: DR GIL NEWBURN

Gil is great to see just to keep yourself sane. Go for Greg Finucane who apparently gets pissed off with ACC wanting him to rewrite reports to suit them. I've heard not to go to Kritzinger.
