Gil is great to see just to keep yourself sane. Go for Greg Finucane who apparently gets pissed off with ACC wanting him to rewrite reports to suit them. I've heard not to go to Kritzinger.

ACC receiving information from a third party is not a privacy breach. This is the foundation that the ACC rely upon when engaging private investigators who in turn conduct their affairs to acquire the complete and infinite variable range of speculations and assumptions I wish the ACC ultimately make decisions. this includes absolute matters such as the individual known as space cadet who imagined I would blow up the ACC offices that were investigating for fraud.

    It is a privacy breach.

ACC provided claim file information to a 3rd party who threw the information back to ACC whilst trying to cover their own arses.

Sensitive claims and privacy breach. They go hand in hand.

Have a few of them myself, including an email from a 3rd party to ACC acknowledging they've received information from ACC about me - again.
  4. In Topic: Structural rewrite of ACC Act

    20 February 2020 - 07:58 AM

I'm under no doubt the AC Act is in need of a re-write but the thought fills me with fear and trepidation because I honestly do not believe it would be in favour of claimants - or the the general NZ'er full stop!
  5. In Topic: IRD and backdated ERC payout

    15 September 2019 - 12:50 PM

IRD tax payments in the year the payment is received (not the same as time of entitlement) so it is IRD your battle is with. However where ACC have screwed up you can request a ex gratia payment or Payment outside of Scope of Statutory Entitlement. See the following FYI OIA Request, scroll through towards the end.
