    Thomas

You are totally off topic when you use this thread to have your own say on your own happening which have nothing to do to help the enquirer with their problem. You go so far as to ask others.

You are totally off topic to try the swing the enquirer into your messed up situation. Nothing to do with their problem. Shut your face if you have nothing to say to assist this person.

You are totally off subject as Brucie says.

Acc do not have to accept any report, Sometimes they don't even follow court rulings, if Dr Newburn is not one of their TOADIES, he is likely to be not giving them what they want.

You will have to file for a review, this is how they play the game.

Also, I have had many specialists reports done over the years, and ACC have paid the total cost, I have never contributed anything.

I had one report done by a non toady, and they paid all the cost, $3.200.00. and then totally disregarded it.

I know people with head injury swear by Dr Newburn and his reports. Once you get as far as District Court the Judge will soon look at it and take it into consideration. So if ACC are not accepting the report, where to from there, did they say

Hi Mini, thanks for replying, sorry I should have made it clear. SNA is short for Support Needs Assessment. We will also be seeking someone to help us apply for a mental injury caused by a physical injury. Is David Codyre funded by ACC and did ACC accept your claim for the injury? Is he a Neuropsychiatrist? lol sorry so many questios. I'd like to hear more about how your mental injury claim went, there is so much to learn. My partner is also going to have to have a seperate Neuropsychologist report due to the declline in his health.

    Hi there

I suspect he was as they paid for me to fly to Alk to see him. Don't know if he is now thought. Yes I was accepted and still am. I did not have and brain injury though, it was the way I was treated after returning to work on light duties. Work didn't like that and as I would never be a 100% again they bullied me into taking 'early retirement', after having operations on my shoulders. I was a real mess as I loved my job and didn't like being 'downgraded' because of injury. He is a psychiatrist, but it was a long time ago, so you would be best to look him on the web or ring him to find if he does the sort of work you need. I have given his name to a lot of people on here as he was so thorough and writes a really good report.

    Good Luck
