Coaching and feedback is sitting around in groups with the claimants file trying to find some way to cease all or any of their entitlements. The stupid glossy lies they use to hide the real purpose and intent of this rubbish are beyond belief. Thank God for these sites and information like this that proves case managers are being financially rewarded by the Corporation to embezzle your entitlements under the act. It would be so good if some of the ex case managers would post here.
The scene with work accident insurance in New Zealand at the moment is the worst it has ever been and it is way beyond time all New Zealanders put aside their differences, us included, and united on this. The issue that faces all of us is that we no longer have accident insurance of the nature being actively promoted by the Government and ACC with its flashy advertising and Birthday spend ups.
Instead our levies are used to provide a group of cheats and abusers in Shamrock House with an investment portfolio of 5 billion dolllars. While paraplegics are forced to protest for days in the cold outside ACC offices for the most obviously neccessary entitlements. Each day that the present situation continues brings us closer to another tragic event like the one that took the life of Janet Pike and put a claimant in prison for her murder. Tougher prison sentences and tighter security at ACC will not answer the problem. Jock

Just how many New Zealanders realise that ,in effect ,workers in New Zealand have no accident insurance as promoted by A.C.C `s extravagant Adds?Nor can they sue.

No worker is aware ,they are uninsured until they have an accident , ,then they are shunted promptly onto an invalids benefit .Makes one wonder just how many, workers, are working with a major injury ,cos they cant live on an invalids benefit .

The long term outcome is going to be more injured workers vying for medical help on our already crumbling hospitals.I can see in the future we`re going to have more and more workers that should have been A.C.C recipients ,having conditions that deteriorate to the state where the state is going to have to outlay even more money for medical treatment.

Well I suppose A.C.C has to have something to spend its vast ill gotten gains on .
By advertising how great they are not only eases consciences but also brings fresh
bods for this rogue corporation to amuse themselves with.

My next worry is now that cunning Cullen has got his superannuation fund ,are the elderly to be denied their super and will future superannuants also be swindled out of their entilemants.Are the elderly to be told they arent sixty five ,denying even birth certificates arent proof of age ?

Is there nothing this Government will do for a dollar?

The part about being rewarded for tail exits is blatant discrimination on the injured parties.

Its up to us and all claimants to ensure that all case managers under acheive in thier assessments.
ACC would have much better results of exiting people if they would provide the entitlements as stated in the legislation.
Im sure many of us would be off ACC now and actually leading a relatively normal life if they had followed the rules instead of imitating hitler.

ACC's Stock Exit process / routine, intent, has been in place a lot longer than most will be aware. It began in the mid / late 70's, when ACC was only a few years old. There are some of us here, whose ongoing battle with ACC is 25 / 27 years old. By way of "Boogied up" medical reports. And blatant out right denial of claimants rights.
In those early days hardly anyone knew much of how the system worked, including lawyers, advocates etc. Information to claimants was Scant , not much changed in that today. Assessors were "instructed", as they are today, as to what ACC wanted.
More blatantly so of recent times.
I, for one, am very clear on that point, in my case.
I was accused of "Trying it on", by ACC's Pet Specisalist", and 25 years later, I have been proven to to be right and correct, in my claim, BY THE COURTS.
And ACC is still Ripping me Off.!!!!

HOW MANY MORE ARE THERE OUT THERE. Who dont know that they have been shafted, who do not have access to the internet or are unaware of support groups. ?
But that is changing now.

It is unfortunate for most of us today, that a certain type of individual saw ACC as a
means of getting some $'s for free out of the system, in those early days. And ACC, has since used this excuse to dump many genuine injured claimants. And developed
some very unfair and illegal tactics and processes.
And in turn they(ACC) have become the worst kind of LOW life Rip OFF merchants, this country has ever seen.
It is almost impossible for anyone to get away with trying it on today as ACC has way to much in place to counter this.
Statistcs will show that ACC, and Indivivuals within ACC, fraudulantly, Thieve , Deny illegally, something like $1000, for 1$ of some claimants entiltlement
As well as the wastage on their Spin Garbage, unwarranted amounts on reviews, court appeals, due to their intentionally incorrect decisions.

This is not what we, the levy payers and policy holders pay for !

If true, that's especially troubling because the $9.9 billion outfit is the nation's largest disability insurer. It writes more than 40% of individual disability policies and more than 25% of group ones, and it covers more than 17 million Americans...
Now, 45 states are jointly investigating how Unum Provident handles claims, the largest such probe ever undertaken in the U.S., says Christopher Goetcheus, spokesman for the Massachusetts Division of Insurance. He says the investigation is expected to be completed by June...
In a separate action last March, the state of Georgia fined the company $1 million and set up a system to scrutinize its handling of every rejected claim involving Georgia residents for two years. Linda Nee, a veteran claims handler at Unum's head office in Portland, Me., and other employees there say they started seeing a more ruthless approach to claims. The pressure peaked, they say, in the last month of each quarter -- the "scrub months," when managers looked for claims to terminate to get under budget.......... In NewZealand ACC is currently accused of BULLYING to provide EXITS by case managers. Politicians are raising cases of ridiculous rehab schemes involving nasal enemas that are swallowing millions of policy holder dollars while Policy holders themselves are refused or embezzled of all entitlements. While claimants children starve and paraplegics are denied wheel chairs, ACC boasts of its 5 billion dollar investment portfolio.

the bonly reason for the ACC to supply the KPI's is to retain staff by offering them bonuses that could be paid out. somewere ACC claimed tat they haven't paid out any bonuses so it is to me that the bonuses are only paid out on illegial activies. the managerment are only intrested in the bottom line and tere object is denial and Exit.

Well, good news! One ACC Case Manager will have his KPI'S reduced this week.

A SUCCESFUL REVIEW FOR A CLAIMANT ACCUSED OF FRAUD. HAD THIS BEEN ACTUALLY CARRIED OUT THE AMOUNT INVOLVED WAS - WAIT FOR IT- $10!!!!

I hope that you are aquiring the dockumation from the ACc that shows the KPI of the case manager. obtaining this information will show that the case manager was told to exit the policy holder in midd year. the second document will show if the case manager was successful or not. combinding the two reports done by the branch manager will show that the branch manager is black mailing the casemanager so they can attempt to get there bonuses

Its good to win the case, but it is also important to stop the currupt pratices that go on in the ACC.

This is the reason these pages exist .
Most can be directly attributed to branch/group and individual KPI benifits Performance means advancement and more pay so corrupt and pecuniary practices prevail as policy is directed to cost minimalisation instead of providing the benifits pescribed under the act as opposed to this policy thing they morph to their objectives.
KPI in a state owned enterprise in fact a public service is asking for trouble and should be discontinued..
