Hi
Don`t usually post a lot but do read both sites often. When things have been quiet on the ACC front my husband and myself tend to bury our heads in sand and hope/pray that they will just leave him alone. (stupid I know)
Have been doing a lot of searching on information as my husband is in process of being exited off his rightful ACC entitlements and have posted anything of interest incase it helps someone else who is going through this process.
In my husbands recent IMA report there is a section on Psychosocial History.
What I need help and advice on is in this history the assessor states that
"His wife is physically and mentally well"
What I would like to know it how the hell would he know??? I took my husband to the assessment and I remained in waiting room during his IMA. (couldn`t mentally cope with going in with him, stupid of me also I know)
This G.P. doesn`t know me, he did not physically examine me nor did he assess my mental state ( which at the moment is boarding on insanity with all ACC`s bullshit and lies)
How could he possibly put this in IMA report and is he allowed to do this.
I do not understand why this was put in to the report.
Has anyone had this happen to them?
This is just one part of an IMA that is full of untruths and assessor ignored reports of my husbands surgeon/specialists/
My husband has a 66% disability score on the owestry scale from his surgeon, has had 2 operations on his back with another 3 levels needing surgery.
He is in a bad way, depressed and all this stress in NOT helping.
