Hi SC

I have most of my entitlements. Just tying up some loose ends, so to speak.

You certainly have an interesting case. Hee Hee!! I love it when they can't work the figures out, that is mainly because they never have to streach their imagination from outside the square. Just follow instructions and if no one ever gives them the instructions, they can't work it out for themselves!!

They make the rules, but cant abide by them and have to go outside them.

So you owned your own business/es, makes life for ACC even more interesting. As you say not to mention the child support. Oh how I used to hate that Child Support when I was working.................it could curdle bulls milk!!!

Just about a specialised area on its own. Mind you I was never lucky enough to receive any, myself, rouge that he was, but we managed in spite of that.

Good chating to you all this Sunday, am off to BBQ now.

Be Good, well, maybe not too good

Mini, ACC knows how much benefit injured persons get when they are cut off. This is in legislation. it is not negotiable like wages ect. All the ACC got to do is look up the correct legislation and they will find the amount paid every week

Hi Dopple

Not in their best interest to do that though, they cant pick up the non taxables for their buddies WINZ along the way, if they do that. And they do not get the tax amount that WINZ took off us that way either. The idea is to make the WINZ payment look like it was an ACC payment from the beginning. They 'pretend' that it was, so they can do what they do to disadvantage us.

I believe every step that is made to make sure WINZ gets reimbursed all their money they have spent on us, after all, the other two are making mega bucks out of us.

If we cannot get reimbursement from ACC HO for our lost 'interest' and extra taxes paid etc, we will never come out of this with justice.

Even then the neverending Reviews and Appeals we have to go through to get our entitlements and the mental damage as well as the cost will mean we never have a fair deal and can never get back to the financial position we were in previously. Three Crown entities make sure this cannot happen. It is not an accident it is done this way, as it used to be that reimbursement was non-taxable for ACC claimants, it was changed when the 1992 ACt came into being. You cannot see it when you read the 1992 ACC Act though. No No that would make it too easy!!!

Previous to that time all monies recovered by WINZ were not 'Gross Income' from our erc.

Cheers Mini

Mimi that was for claiming interest and when did the ACC have the information Of cause the day that they cut the entitlement.

If they never cut the entitlement they would still have the information collected

Dopple

I am not talking about interest, I am talking about 'reimbursement to WINZ from ACC for monies paid to us previous to receiving our right to enitilement of erc'.
