what is really important is that the correct Medical Information is in the hands of ACC.
Make sure that your injury discription is written on your IRP (this may not be the injury that ACC uses in there code.
Make sure that you have your disibility on the IRP in full detail
you will need a copy of your last medical certificate so the assessor knows from your Dr what your injuries and disibilities are.
Good luck and if ACC has caused any deterioration them get your Dr to place it on medical certificate explaining the deterioration and reason why.

Stay away from:
David Ruttenberg
Professor Des Gorman
Evan Dryson
Dr Kantilal Kanji
As in my opinion they do not produce unbiased reports. Can't help with who will give you an honest report though, sorry.

I can support David Black , he has in my experience offered up honest and indepth reports.. and I have seen a few he has done..( about thirty)
I must also go against the flow and suggest that Ruttenberg has also done a number of reports that i also consideed very fair ..( about seventeen)
IAnd as well have actually personally had IMA done by both of them and found them both to be sound..

The report you will recieve will depend on many reasons;
one being your ability to communicate the injury for which U
have "cover" for; the reports ACC supply[supply your own complete documents]
and a witness to these events[advise CM U wish to record this meeting]
as U may wish to use either the "review process" or "court systems".
ps. most experts/dr will not want anything to do with courts.[money]

Are you required by ACC to pick from that list?
Great Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Michael Barnes, Domain Orthopaedic, 20 Titoki St, Parnell.
Operated on my daughters prolapsed disc last year, with excellent success.
Was Covered by ACC, not without a fight of course!
I found Mr Barnes's written reports very precise, which gave great ammunition to fire at ACC when they tried to cheat my daughter out of her entitlement to back surgery.
Make sure you get copy of full report from whoever you do use though, as ACC picks parts out of context to try railroad you.
I was astonded when I got full specialist report and saw that the little excerpts ACC used to decline surgery, gave a completely false account of what the specialist had actually written.
Go get em!
PS: No, I don't have shares in Domain Orthopaedic!!

Kez....
Perhaps we should!
Yes, I've seen how ACC have "selected" from Doctor's reports... however after a rather tough 3-5 year battle, I've seen some progress on my particular case.
It helps to have supporting doctors (GP and specialists) that will continue to battle for their patients, doesn't it!
