I am assuming that you will be indicating a review decision, don't wait the 28 days
arm yourself with the knowledge, especially if you think you know the outcome,
that way once you receive the final decision, you will know what to do

Hi Gemini,

Was ACC's decision, Revised - Revoked - or Quashed?

The ACC seldom appeal a decision, however if you are not happy with a backdating date then you may need to appeal the decision yourself.

I am assuming that the date that they are going to backpay and/or reinstate entitlements (whatever?) is not acceptable or is possibly incorrect, or you simply just do not agree with it for some reason? If that is the case you may be forced to have to appeal the review decision yourself despite the fact that you have won the review.

The only possible alternative would be to contact the review officer through DRSL and make him/her aware that there has been a mistake or a correction is needed to the backdating date.

If you don't do this within the 28 day period then you will automatically confirm that you accept the review decision as it stands.

Hope this is of some help.
