Has anybody had a claim accepted for this injury? I sought a specialist assessment & he agreed this is what I now have, after a head injury. I'm now 5 years on,still can only work part time due to severe headaches & fatigue, lack of concentration and sensitivity to light & sound . ACC say the issues I now have are not related to my head injury, I can assure you I never had these problems before! They have blatantly disregarded my specialist report and will not accept cover of any kind, stating that any post concussion symptoms would've disappeared within a few months of my head injury . Any suggestions where to go from here?

Why have you had an assessment change?
Head/ Brain injury to Post Concussion Syndrome.
Symptoms are as Brain Injury.

Guess they now say it’s a mental issue as your great grandmother was depressed over the Irish Potato Famine

That’s bollocks to go to post concussion and say post concussion dissapeared within months
It doesn’t= FACT.
I’m 30 years brain injury. and still waiting for a no symptom report.
Another money saving move by the bastards in ACC
They been refining this method for some time to get rid of genuine claims.
