Hi Joko, You can count Hellemans and Averis off that list. Acc Greymouth have not got an up to date list.
It is with much regret we found that the only honest Assessor, Dr Hellemans, has taken a year's sabatical. He was awarded a scholorship and is going to study Coaching in Dunedin I believe.
Dr Averis got the strength of a corrupt machine some time ago and never renewed his contract.
So we are left with the Toadies and there isnt any hope for any of us now in getting an honest unbiased opinion. The only Doctor who was unbiased has gone for 12 months!!
Sorry about that !!

Hellemans got unavailable til the 10th of January beside his name. Sure you have not been fobbed off with an elaborate lie? Who said he was gone? Helleman himself or ACC?

Joko, what was written on my posting is correct. Hellemans told a claimant himself. What more proof do you need?

His Brother-in-law was killed in the Tsunami and he went overseas to the funeral. Now he is doing his sabatical.

This was told to us by a claimant who was booked to undergo an assessment. We are all very troubled about this. He was the only honest Assessor around.

Put a Code complaint in - not being offered choice of medical assessor - Right 2 - to be treated fairly and have views considered.
After ACC's complaints outfit whitewashes the matter - go to review.
Interestingly, the NZ Law Society is unhappy with the Code and is talking about changes, including decent remedies for breaches.

Decent remedies for breaches... wouldn't THAT be nice!!! Good to see the Law Society is getting in on it now too.
BTW Helleman's is now in Dunedin working out of the Sports Institute @ Logan Park - Active Health Otago I believe.
