I have just received a letter from Government Services with yet another delay in answering questions out to the minister.

Only 3 very simple questions and without doubt, ACC must have the answers very readily available... So why the delay
and why the need for extra time...

Of note... Govt services advise that ACC HQ is closed because of the Quake... So this may mean that the building
is UNSAFE!!!

So now lets compare that to the Christchurch situation where the Central Police station was hit by all the thousands of quakes
including the biggies... and it was inspected by engineers whom were concerned about its damage...

What happened here tho... was the Police and civilian staff were all told the building was OK and they were required to
maintain use of it. Several more engineers reports were done over several months and with every new quake.. that building
became worse until the Police staff basically refused to work in it anymore....

So why isn't the same happening at ACC HQ??

On the bright side.... this may mean that the building will eventually have to be demolished? probably use explosives and
blow it up!! be a big crowd wanting to watch that...... : )

Give the job to GUY FAWKS.

Or better still, ALAN THOMAS as a XMAS present.

As for any ACC staff trying to suggest that there is a justifiable delay in answering your questions. Bullshit. In this internet age these non-empathetic people should be home based [if not already relocated] doing what we pay them to do.

Business as usual.
