'Strong' 4.3 magnitude earthquake rocks Christchurch
http://www.stuff.co....ks-christchurch
Quote: "Another strong aftershock has rocked Christchurch."
At approximately 7-15pm last night - Thursday evening.
How the heck can they differentiate between an earthquake and an aftershock?
My way of thinking is that when the earth moves it's an earthquake with minor shaking following on from that!
When the earth moves 3 or 4 days later, that's another earthquake, in my opinion anyway.
Anyone else have an opinion?
