Does anyone know what "Te Heke" Farms means on an ACC "Claim Details" page. It says:
Suggested Treatment Objectives ""Te Heke"" Farms.
Also page says
Tail Case Yes
Tail Stream B - Vocational
Does anyone know what this means?

Holy Cow, so that's why I'm being sent to Te Heke Farm. These ACC procedures are soul distroying.
How can people be put out to pasture when they haven't had any rehabilitation?
Don't old cows get turned into pet food, or was that old horses?
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I've had a good look through the postings but didn't find anything about Te Heke Farm. Is it a real place, or code for dog food?

Write to your case manager and ask him what treatment is going to be offered to yourself at thr farm. Make it an request, will be interesting to see what the reply is.

Thanks Easy Rider & IDB. I'll write to ACC tonight.
I appreciate the replies. It's comforting to know that other people are still awake. I get very depressed with ACC. No problem with the injuries I have only dealing with ACC as they erode my quality of life and confidence. The same problem every one has on the tail & on their way to the Farmyard, I guess.
I don't understand why ACC is able to continue dealing to people the way they do.
How can staff sleep at night, although I am addicted to sleeping pills so I can get at least some sleep. Perhaps they get issued sleeping pills as part of their employment package?

Hi Tailcase, Another word for the Tail, is STOCK and that Stock needs to be culled. So what you are to do on the farm is anyone's guess!!
Perhaps you are going to sit in a paddock and laugh like some of the unfortunate "stock" have been made to do?
Just file for a Review when you find out the details!!!

Hi there
Three ACC staff don't know what Te Heke Farms is. ACC hasn't replied to my letter even though I was advised that the case manager was "working on" the reply last week.
