Call me a cynic...call me what yah wish.....Posted Image how come this stuff is only coiming out now....hell there's many things mTBI sufferers can tell these researchers....it almost seems counter-productive to think the ACC would rather decline spectacles and send a person for thousands of dollars worth of 'preferred assessor' reports rather than heed the advice of all this research, some that's even been proved in the late eighties, and just shell out a grand....what's the cost of someone who has a prang because of a lousy pair of specs or vision rehabilitation.....bloody Irish IMOHO

With the very lack of attention to proper diagnosis at the initial injury, people are being left out in the cold. A & E dept's doctors are never held accountable for their slack practices. People are suffering long term from the effects of injuries... Coupled with the trying times trying to later get the 'real attention' for their problems, anywhere from GPs to Specialists who either do diagnose but reluctant to put signature to 'the cause being the accident'... ACC use these player cards against 'innocent injured people'. Whom have the basic 'right and entitlement' to have decent, truthful state of the ark full diagnostics which we all contribute to the costs of via Taxatin and ACC Levies.

SO why the deny deny deny...... The costs involved fighting on both sides of the fence is detrimental to the health of the injured. It is a huge massive drain on Levy resources (although they are in massive bulk accummalive funding accounts). The bulk money would be quadrupled if The ACC had to cull out the Legal beagles, midico legals, half the managers, the greazy snouters also like the so called Specialists being flown round the country side. Culling out half of all this dodgey Review process... All of this costing us NZrs MILLIONS...

Put all that money into the Hospital system and have ALL AND EVERYONE sorted via the Hosptial system. Cutting out the Govt making Billions out of extortion of funds from us and not giving us value for our money. Not honouring the ACC contract to us for a 'No fault system' is costing us triple $'s in all areas.... it's further draining the other Pot, and keeping injured in a state of limbo.... unrehabilitated, untreated, unable to be use resources, limited, unable to help themselves, limited, unable to understand and limited, unable to better themselves, limited in their situation, and limited in life in general, hugely limited going forward.....limited abilties to work.
