My name is Wayne Coady,I live in Nova Scotia Canada. I belong to the Community of Injured Workers In Canada.

We are in the process of getting a petition together calling for a public inquiry looking into the abuse of power by the Workers Compensation Boards across Canada. Maybe we should come together and send off a Human Right Abuse complaint to the United Nation Human Rights Commissioner Louise Arbour. If we can connect with a few more injured workers groups from other countries, we could make this an international complaint.

Hi Wayne,
We have a petition before parliament here requesting an inquiry into current ACC case management practises. I think if we can group together as injured people who are quite frankly being shafted by accident insurance schemes then we can only become stronger....

What a great idea. Maybe the local committees could talk to our members about this and take a vote re joining. Please send details of the procedures etc.
It's kind of sad to hear of yet another country afflicted by these life -sucking scams. More people having to fight for their lives.

HI pacific, we are fighting the same battle with the same people. The Workers Compensation System is one of the worlds largest insurance companies. It is set up as an investment holding company and is funded by our employers, who pay in and managed by investment brokers. http://www.awcbc.org/ and http://www.iaiabc.org/

The Workers Compensation Board of Director are nothing more than enforcers, thugs or well trained terriorest.
