Why one leg is longer than the other ?

Is this, in part, why injured people who become claimants of
http://www.acc.co.nz ACC get called stock?

"And so it was that in the Country of New Zealand,
where the hills are so steep the sheep (acc claimants) have one leg longer than the other,
a vehicle was born with wheels on one side bigger than those on the other....
thus enabling the New Zealand farmer (acc claimants) a means to drive around his/her property in a level manner whilst caring for his/her flock (family)."

"The sheep (acc claimants) were bred, over many years, to have legs longer on one side to that of the other so they could graze the hills in a level manner...(this trait is also passed onto the New Zealand people, their dogs, and even their cows!)

There were "Right-handed" sheep (acc claimants)and "Left-handed" sheep (acc claimants) (longer legs on opposite sides) which posed a wee problem at muster time depending on which side the big wheels were mounted on the vehicle, and the sheep (acc claimants) could only walk around the hills in the direction their legs were on!!!!...."
