It is observed in more recent years in SSAA / WINZ http://www.workandincome.govt.nz/ cases that go to appeal that they do not put the persons name or identity
in there decisions, unlike http://www.acc.co.nz
Unfortunately there are still references to previous cases, in more recent decisions/ judgements, by the persons name & number which is, in our opinion, a Privacy & Personal Safety issue for those named.
Those who have taken appeals to SSAA who have their name & case details (including the number of the case) for all to read, including in cyberland, may we suggest you write a letter to the Appropriate Authorities requesting that your identity is removed and a formal letter of apology is given if there have been Privacy & Personal Safety issues.
You can find out if there is reference to your case by entering those details under http://www.nzlii.org/nz/cases/NZSSAA/
A bouquet to WINZ where it's due for in part protecting people's rights to Privacy & to Personal Safety, including their mental safety.
