If i am receiving an ACC caregivers allowance but no other 'supplementaries' from anywhere would i qualify for GMFI?
GMFI is a small weekly payment from IRD for those that work 20+ hours per week but have a low income.

hi ang i get 524 per week gross
which is broken up as follows;
7.5 hours per day 7 days per week at 3 rates $10.10 per hour, $12.48 per hour and $8.32 per hour.
If i recall the higest rate is for 1/2 hour per day, the middle rate 2 hours per day and the lowest rate 5 hours per day.
the forms give a start time of 7am and a finish time of 9pm (i know thats NOT 7.5 hours but i'm told they deduct the hours that a normal child would normally need from this figure.
At this rate i do 3 of four daily physios (1 done at school.,) post surgery dressing changes and meds as needed, general day to day care ie bathing, homework general care and supervision, braces garments as needed , medical appts toileting dressingetc
a few people have commented that i should have respite entitlement and have asked the person responsible to discuss it with me, 4 meetings later noone has.

i'm fairly sure both, but will check through the mound of paperwork tomorrow to confirm./
Hes just had his teacher aide hours increased so no doubt that means they'll be cutting me down or off too.
