Hi Hippy it is Darrell here. I suggest you see Gavin Farr. Very fair & consistent. He did my report & gave me 5% when combined with my sensitive claim came in at 10%.
Kind Regards & Good Luck

Hippy watch that you are not set up into getting assessed for injuries not causing your incapacities.

Make sure you go with a written reason which tells why the job options are not valid. Make sure any vocational Rehabilitation is written down and if the occupational assessor has left out an employment option then include this in your IMA written document.

there is more to the assessment than just turning up to an assessment. read the Act and your case manager should have explained what they are doing. This is important especially important if you have to change occupations because of your injuries.

Thanks doppelganger.

I am going into this med assesment to see if I can return to work ?, if not why not ?, if not full time, why not part time ?, and if not at all what rehab is suggested ?.

I have NOT been required to go for a Work assesment. So no job options are to be considered.

I am 61 and this is a straight out med to answer the above questions.

The injuries which caused my diability are the only injuries I have so I should not be set up for injuries outside of these.

The last 3 or 4 annual med assesments with ACC's people have all stated my disabilities are such to keep me from working and rehab is not an option.

But they don't stop trying do they ???

I consider my CM to be very good ?? but he follows orders from above......

I dont want to end up in the hands of an assesor who is a toady who will send me down the sewer and no skin off his nose.
