Thanks for posting this - wonder what ACC's real motive is!
As to tomcat, would be great if ACC looked at all the cases sitting at the courts sadly ACC being the bastards they are tomcat and many others will be forced to continue in the battle - nature of the beast -

OCI are mostly a whitewash - as they do not investigate complaints. However their findings are usually recorded at Party Level ...... They merely send a form to your case manager - who then responds - telling OCI what they think they have done regarding your complaint. Quite illuminating reading! Then OCI write a response based on that form - without checking back to your original complaint or EOS medical notes at all. OCI rely on your case manager to give them accurate information regarding the matter. Like trusting a crocodile not to eat you - in my book!!
OCI still accept that a psychiatrist that broke the Code of Claimants rights many times in her poor assessment practices, even Medical Council findings support my complaint - but no - OCI say it was fine and that they cannot investigate such matters. 3rd party assessors, who are they kidding??? They also think it is acceptable for staff to not record information from files, however we did manage to get some complaints accepted and David May - acting CEO was excellent - he went back to Medical Reports and this changed everything for me!!
Even if OCI find in the claimants favour, it still does not mean a win or anything changes. The wins come at REVIEW and if not then, then the courts and sadly this is the process we are forced into. Your physical print files will show you how OCI do the complaints process.
Sure OCI is a sham and the investigations are bullshit, have you thought of turning it back on OCI?? -

Does anyone know what came of the privacy breach case that was being taken against ACC by John Miller Law on behalf of the sexual abuse clients? thanks
Izzy - maybe the best course of action would be to contact John Miller Law.Do you know what was the outcome of the complaints to the Privacy Commissioner - were they brushed under the carpet!!
